Who We Are

"We believe there is no investment more critical to our future than our investment in our youth"                                                                                                                          -Carol Kost, Founder

About Us.

Loudoun Youth Inc. believes that investing in the youth is the best way to ensure our community will have a successful future. Through several of our programs, designed to appeal to a wide variety of teens with differing interests and backgrounds, we enable them to discover their individual talents, overcome perceived weaknesses, gain confidence in their leadership skills, develop friendships with peers also striving to achieve their fullest potential, gain insight into challenges and opportunities faced by our country, and realize the impact they can have on their own community.

The best part of being involved with Loudoun Youth Inc. is not only knowing that we are training teens to tackle community problems sometime in their future, but also through our programs, we are able to watch them step up and take action to improve the health, safety, and well-being of our country's residents right now, while they are still teens.

We work to inspire teens, but are inevitably inspired by them, as well.

Mission Statement.

Loudoun Youth Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to coordinate community resources to assist in the development of youth programs and to create leadership opportunities for young people. We seek to...

...provide diverse programs that empower all youth in Loudoun County.

...support and develop programs that provide Loudoun teens positive out-of-school activities in safe, nurturing environments

...help teens become more confident and contributing members of our society.

We accomplish this through community partnerships with organizations and agencies including: Loudoun County Parks, Recreation, and Community Services (PRCS), Loudoun Youth Advisory Council (YAC), and the Advisory Commission on Youth (ACOY).
