Loudoun Youth, Inc adheres to core values that play an important role in the development of youth into adult members of the community. Today's teens are looking for their place in the world. The opportunities they explore and the paths they choose will determine their future.

Our programs place an emphasis on self-determination. Our programs allow young people to provide input and lead as much as possible. We encourage their initiative and guide their energies while listening to their ideas and investing them completely in the decision-making process. In turn, we provide our younger citizens with the vision and determination to become active members of our vibrant community.

Our activities focus on teens from all backgrounds, not just "at risk" teens, because it is important for all youth to feel connected and engaged in the community. We teach skills to resist gangs and violence, provide opportunities for growth and offer access to different experiences and choices.

Community involvement, youth leadership, includsiveness and celebrating diversity are the values we embrace and teach our youth members.
